Well,i think it's the basic public morality to mute ur cellphone when u are in a meeting or speech , class.
But i don't know why some never follow this rule, even they are told to mute their phones!
that's really so boring to hear the rings or some souuds, when all of us are listening carelly.
don't they feel a little sorry abt this??

I am not sure if they feel bad about it. But you see it everywhere. People are just rude. and they wonder why they get the looks they get. I say if you are going into a place that you know you can have your cellphone on then leave it in your vehicle. If you are worried about someone calling you in an event of an emergency then give that person the number to the building you are in. Plain and simple.

I also get to used to it now. Thanks to my college rules where all the cellphones are prohibited in the class. If I need to smuggle it in, then have to make it silent. So, the behaviour continuous until now.Everytime need to see the boss or go to the meeting, I will silent it first. Regarding the sudden ring in the meeting I also feel it's very irritating to hear that. These people should respect others and not distraught them.

My daughter's doctor's office has a sign that reads something to the effect of "NO Cell Phones- Your child deserves your full attention". I think it sums up my feelings on public cell phone use perfectly. I want to make copies of the sign to post at the playground, and the children's museum.
