Saviour-V teleports in, somewhat annoyed...
Whether you're a friend or someone I don't know, I genuinely do NOT like screamers. And in case you're wondering what I mean, allow me to provide the following scenario.
Sometime during your day in the office, you get a mail in your Yahoo inbox. And the title reads "Take a close look at the cyclist!" So, you download the movie file attached to the mail, and as the video plays for an almost innocent 25 seconds, you see a cyclist busy cycling around, nothing fancy.
Until second #25, when a freak in a monster suit jumps out from the background and SCREAMS. Woe on you if you left your speakers on full blast.
Believe me, that's enough to give anyone a heart attack, and it's mighty annoying. So...who here's been affected severely by these fiendish things?

Long time no see SaviourV! I am embarrassed to admit that yes, I have been scared shirtless by 2 of these types of video's so far. The first one was of a car in the distance that driving along a winding mountain road with greenery everywhere and nice classical music playing in the background..... After about 20 seconds of this, some zombie dude leaps into screen from the right and screams it's backside off! (I think I lost about four pounds when I first experienced this one.)
The second one is a well known flash app that has the picture of a room with a window. Of course someone who has already been pantsed by the concept keeps egging you on to stare at the window because there is a ghostly figure there if you look hard enough etc...... And yes, this is what I do because I don't want to be the dumb one that ISN'T able to see the ghost yes? (Like those damn 3D pictures you have to unfocus your eyes at to see and you will practically DIE trying to make sure you see the picture that everyone else can supposedly see emerging from all the strange shapes on the poster!) And then BOO! The screen changes to some ghoulish face that screams for a split second and then disappears again. Both of these types got me I'm afraid; and got me GOOD!

Saviour-V teleports in...
Precisely why I detest those screamers so much.
Sorry about the long delay. Trying to obtain funds from various places, and then some.
Saviour-V sighs slightly...
Hasn't been too easy...^_^;;
Saviour-V grins, and teleports out...

Yes, I've definitely gotten that e-mail before. I saw someone taping another person's reaction to that e-mail in an episode of America's Funniest Home Videos. Whoever sent it to me though would be disappointed. I didn't scream or even flinch. I remember the first time it was sent to me I kind of suspected something was up. But boy would I be upset if I were at work reading it and everyone else ended up getting startled.

Me too. I hate screamers but in my case I hate real screamers more than the ones in the emails. I have a scenario where it actually happened at my home. Actually I regret choosing to live in my home now because two of my neighbors turned out to be monsters! They like screaming, as if the condominium is theirs alone. I never understand why people like to bother others like they do. All the other neighbors are not like them. They are the only people who act like monkeys from the jungle. No civilization, I suppose. I wonder how on earth can their mothers bear their existence in this world.
If they just like screaming, it is not that frustrating. But they do it on purpose because my husband and I do not want to join them in their parade attitudes. What jerks they are! Urgghh... I just can't wait to find a new place to live. God, help me!
