Yes, one of my neighbor here visited my house and offer her friendship to me, after several weeks she ask to lend money to me and because i value my friendship to her i give a money i the condition that she will render it back for a week. and yes she pay me back the pay for a week but after two days she lend again a money and promise to me again that she will pay me for a month but sadly to say that until now its been two years from the day of lending my money to her, she never pay me the amunt that she borrowed. sometimes i feel that they are making friend to me because they want a friendship for their benefits.

Yes, I have. There was this one time when I was still in the first grade. Why I still remember this? Maybe because at that time I was still a kid, and the value of money is very big to me, even though the amount is actually just a few cents.
It so happened that my friend who was sitting next to me didn't bring her pocket money for that particular day. She said her mother forgot to give it to her, and that the bus was already waiting in front of her house and she didn't have the time to ask the money from her money.
So because I was her closest friend in class, I thought it was my responsibility to help her in a difficult situation like that. Fortunately I had 60 cents at that time and I gave her 30 cents to spend on food. At that time 30 cents is big. I could get a bowl of curry noodles with 20 cents, a bowl of noodle soup with only 10 cents. Just imagine how much money 30 cents is.
She took the money, but I didn't tell her to pay back because I assumed she understood the concept of lending. But she didn't, and I waited until one week before I asked again for the money.
She didn't own up and said I was pretending. I got angry and I told my teacher about it. And after that she was forced to pay.
Lol! Whenever I remember about this, I turned gigglish. It was so funny indeed, fighting over 30 cents.

hello heidi :-) yes i do unfortunately. he is a former officemate who borrowed 500 pesos from me but never returned it. he keeps on promising to return it but did not give the money until he resigned from the company. anyway, i just relied to a quote i once read to feel better- this is the quote= if you lend someone 5 dollars and never see that person again, it is probably worth it.

Only once, my best friend asked me a very small ammount of money, so I didnt even bother in telling her to give it back to me... I'm a generous person, but just 'till a certain limit and if someone crosses that line, being as I am, it would be very hard for me to forget and getting to trust that person back
Friends, you are warned, LOL
Happy MyLotting and have a nice day!

Yes. you will always find one or two in your life time. But you get experienced after one or two such incidents. My father once told me 'if you want to purchase enemity, lend money'. If one is very close then sometimes it is difficult to get back because you may hesitate to ask for it. But once in my life I used it the other way round. One person had that reputation as to not to return the money. Once he came to me for money. I lent him a small amount knowing fully well that it will not be returned. Believe me it has not been returned for the past 15 years. But by doing that I blocked him from availing this opportunity for the second time.

There is this friend of mine who always ask money from me and he never return it back because he would normally ask for a small amount of money and he would take adavtage that the money is little and a would not want it back but i'm always on his back in need of my money, in most cases he would ask for 50cents or $1 and when i need it back he would say "oh! that so little, do you really want it back?" hell yeah i want it back, is my money.I think most people are problematic when it comes to paying back
