the rich sometimes get frenzied about shopping. despite the fact that they are rich enough to buy whatever they want, shopping is losing its meaning in their hands, for shopping seldom gratify their needs, their hollow soul deep beyond satisfaction. the easier they can get sth, the less they can enjoy the process of pining for it and the final moment of being able to purchase it.though we take pity in the poor who are much too often in the tedious process of waiting to purchase necessities, in the effort of approaching your goal is precious.so many adult cannot get a full understanding of their children's delight they have when they after months of saving their pocket money, eventually could afford some items which seem to make no sense for grown-ups.
maybe the rich should search another way for happiness?

I feel the same way, I used to spend like crazy buying anything and everything I wanted. I realized that I was more happy if I saved more of my hrad earned money for my sons instead of just spending it all the time. I now do more things with them like going to the movies and out to eat, I have a lot more fun with them then I ever did going on my shopping sprees.

I find it interesting how many lower and lower middle class people say that, I theorize its because they want to justify a reason they were born poor not rich like others were, though I do agree with the gratification of having truly waited and earned something. It is quite satisfying.(For the record, I'm not rich, I was born dirt poor, I'm not kidding, My brothers and I could only dream of the toys we saw, because the only money we saw in a year was generally around 10 dollars from grandparents for christmas, and 10 dollars for birthday, with about 30-40 dollars spent on us for christmas)
Rich people however, I would percieve find happyness in their own ways, many have the same hobbies lower classes do, such as deal hunting. or raising children, creating homes (decorating and supplying for family gatherings and such) getting together with friends for different reasons. etc.
