There is a whole school of thought on this one...I know it has something to do with balancing you PH. One thing you can do put a lot of lemons in your diet because they help even out your Ph. Balancing you Ph can help you loose weight too. I think the diet I am thinking of is called Alkaline something diet. I know there is a product you can buy that has a tons of greens and lemons and other stuff that can make you less acidic, but I think there is a diet too.

Lemon juice isn't as acidic as you think. Many of the foods you intake are a lot more acidic than lemon juice is.

Well, I do not know about eating things to reduce the acid in the blood. But I do know of ways to eat less of it to not add to the acidity of the blood. One, he or she will have to eat less meat proteins. These ususally contain a lot of uric acid. Especially found in animal products and internal organs of these animals. So things like sweetbreads, anchovies, sardines, liver, beef kidneys, brains, meat extracts (e.g Oxo, Bovril), herring, mackerel, scallops, game meats, and gravy have to be avoided if possible. I guess drinking lots of water (good old plain water, not sodas or colas) and a regular exercise routine would help too.

ha ha ha ha ha... well, you can always try a wedge of lemon to go with your water. Very nice and refreshing, especially chilled. Takes the smell of the water away easy! If not, a small splash of vinegar or cider will do the same thing.

moonlitmagikchild to safely lower acidic levels you do need to see your doctor as he has to decide how much bicarbonate of soda you need to take to safely lower your acidic level.I know as I had acidic blood and had to take sodium bicarbonate tablets so you must see a doctor for this.that is the only safe way to do it, going thru foods wont do it. beg or borrow the money but see your doctor, there is no other really safe way to do it. your kidneys will rebell if you do not do this the right way.
