A friend of mine told me that this is a good show so I decided to try watching it for myself. I was entertained and intrigued. It's not so heavy and serious which is sometimes just what o need when stressed. Would anyone else liek to comment about this show?

I'd watched Wonderfalls which is what the guy who created Pushing Daisies worked on before it and the main character Ned also played a character on Wonderfalls so I was really excited to watch it when I heard it would be premiering over on futoncritic.com and I LOVE it! It's adorable, quirky, strange, and while it's a mystery it's also different from every other mystery show on tv which is what I really love about it! I'm so sick of those CSI shows and things of that ilk. It's just boring because the characters never really interact with one another or do anything besides solve the crimes and while it's great that they put the badguys away well I could watch ANYBODY do that so why should I watch CSI Las Vegas or Miami or New york when it doesn't matter who I'm seeing put the bad guys away! I love Ned and Chuck and even Emerson because they're 3D characters, I feel like they're more real than Gil Grissom could ever hope to be because the writers tell us more about them!

I am watching Ellen through our local cable operator at 2nd Avenue (the channel where Ellen, Pushing Daisies, Mad Men etc are shown in the Philippines), then the commercial about Pushing Daisies was shown. I was intrigued and watched the first three episodes. I am coping with the rest of the episodes of the first season now as it is being replayed and I really like it. It is unique and the flow of the story is really interesting.
