I browse through pictures of my former classmates in elementary and high school and now I see all the differences and the status that we have in these lives of ours.
I'm in the middle class type of family and middle- class type of person. Not that out of fashion and not in the fashion. When I see my former classmates whose has the lower class type of family and personality, I just feel contented with who I am but when I see my classmates who are in the upper class of family and personality, I just can't stop myself from envying and even comparing how I look with how they look and I end up jealous and out-fashioned.
I'm not really a fashionista or someone who really goes out and wear all those fab dresses and in-fashion wears. When I try, I'm not comfortable with it so I end up just looking stupid because I can't carry the looks.
Have you ever thought of being in someonelse's place when you get jealous of just how they look and how they seem to live?

Never! I like being who i am and I always thank God for making me me. hey, I don't have everything I wished I had or long for something I've always wanted sometimes, but I will never envy anyone who is always wearing the latest fashion and has everything. They may have lots of other hidden problems. Have you noticed how celebrities and rich people often have the worst emotional problems? I'm happy being who i am, and following fashion religiously just makes you a slave! Have you ever thought about that? Be content with what you have, and ask God for the rest. Do not worry about tomorrow, what you will eat or drink (or wear), for your Father who is in heaven knows that you need these things - the Bible

I am contented with who I am and what I have in life. God has given me this life and I should make the most of it. Having that envious feelings will displace you in society for you want to be like someone else who is much better than you.You would be dreaming day in day out that you'll be like so and so but when you fail to achieve your dreams you become upset. Not all the rich and famous are contented with life. There are always something that is missing in their life and for me I wouldn't want to ask for more but a healthy and long life.

Fortunately my mind is never bothered by these thoughts. I live my life one day at a time and I am quite content with who I am and what I have. I have classmates who are wildly successful. I don't care. Cheers!!

actually, i haven't thought of that. everytime i see my former classmates status now, i always thought, "oh i can do that?", "i'll do that eventually", "im not as nerdy as i was before". although, its good to know how they are and you'll feel a little bit jealous, i am still happy with who i am right now and what i've accomplish and what im going to accomplish. im still in a journey and i havent gotten to my destination. :)

I have many times tried to see the life from somebody's point of view and I have found how life if different from there. I have passed through various stages of life where I have seen so many joys and so many sorrows of the life. From all these things I have learnt that we should not judge anything just by own point of view because many times we may not be looking at the things from the right point of view. Some times the worst situation would look like a bright chance and sometimes a very rosy picture would look like full of difficulties.
Some one has said "The most distinctive mark of the cultured mind is to look at the things of life from somebody else's point of view rather than one's own."
