have you tried to argue with your parents?

much as i want to, i don't have the guts to argue with my parents, even thought most of the time i know am right still i've no courage to do it. actually, there were times i felt am burned out and want to burst still it's hard for me to say my opinions to them.

Hi, cathya and welcome to myLot. I understand your feelings on this. It is hard for me to argue with my parents. I was raised to believe that it would be very disrespectful to speak to them harshly.

tnx. we have same reasons. and sometimes i get so emotional when am about to speak out my mind.

oh yeah i always do. i'm the blacksheep in the family and i dont really like them to control me at all

is there any daughter who wouldnt have argued with her mother....well however you try hard its difficult for a mother and daughter to remain friendly always as its always through these small small arguments do we become more closer...

hi, well when it come to petty issues of course i tried to explain my side but when it comes to a very complicated matters i always choose to be quiet though at the back of my mind i really wanted to shout back! its really difficult
