The Lord looks at the heart...

God's ways are higher than my ways... - The mysterious personality of God reveals how sovereign He is. How wonderful He is. And how small our mind to fathom it. If you will ask me why and how, or what's my basis with this, then, I just can't answer you the way you want to hear it. I just trust in the Bible and everything in it.

God does not see the same way people see.People look at the outside of a person but the Lord looks at the heart. II Samuel 16:7 God saw what no one else saw, a God seeking heart. Others measures your waist line or your wallet, but not God, He examines the heart. And when He finds one set on Him,He calls it and claims it. ( sources Max Lucado's writings - www.maxlucado.com) Amazing!

Yes, you are so right. God does not look at us, the way we look at each other. He sees not our flaws and mistakes.. I love God for being this way. He is the best of the best! There are many people that look at you on the outside, but they don't really know how you really are on the inside.. But God knows, and that is what makes it so very special.

I 100 % agree with you b/c our beloved Prophet Muhammad(pbuh)had also said: "ALLAH (ONE GOD ALMIGHTY)NEVER LOOKS AT YOUR BODIES OR WEALTH BUT HE LOOKS AT YOUR HEARTS AND DEEDS." So He looks towards our intentions and then to actions to see purity........to reward us accordingly. Thanks for starting this discussion.

Thanks for responding and sharing your nice views. You are right there are many common things in all divine religions which we should promote for better understanding.Jesus(pbuh)is coming again to this world to unite all the Muslim and Christian believers in one faith to lead them in a holy war against the last Antichrist and his "followers".......After killing him personally in Israel and getting rid of all his followers,he will establish the first IDEAL WORLD STATE to fill this earth with peace, prosperity and Justice......This is what our Holy Prophet Muhammad(pbuh)had informed us about his brother Prophet Jesus(pbuh)and this is what we Muslims believe in ......In other words we are also receiving a common leader,so why not to receive him jointly ??

Actually, God is no man, He sees beyond man and He is gracious. I love God because He is merciful and compassionate. He answers my prayers, provides for my needs. He cares for me and He sent His only begotten son to die for my sin. Oh, God is good all the time!

okwusman, you forgot to mention some of his character,so I'll give some: God Kills the Curious And he smote of the men of Beth-shemesh,because they had looked into the ark of of Jehovah, he smote of the people seventy men, `and' fifty thousand men; and the people mourned, because Jehovah had smitten the people with a great slaughter. And the men of Beth-shemesh said, Who is able to stand before Jehovah, this holy God?and to whom shall he go up from us? (1Samuel 6:19-20 ASV) God kill the children (Exodus 12:29),(Moses - Numbers 31:17),(Deuteronomy 2:33-34),(Deuteronomy 3:2-6), (2 Samuel 12:15-18) (2 Kings 2:23-24),(Isaiah 13:15-18)(Isaiah 14:21-22), (Jeremiah 13:14),(Ezekiel 9:4-6)

I agree with that 100%. An honest heart and a willing attitude will get you farther with God than anything else. Don't waste your time trying to tell God how you feel because He already knows the real truth about that one. Learn how to communicate with God in your thoughts. You can try to lie to God with your lips but not in your thoughts. Your thoughts are a direct reflection of how you really feel about God. Don't ever forget God can help us to think positive in matters that pertain to our personal relationship with Him and Jesus.

That's Right, some judge the outward appearances but God sees what's in the heart. He also understands our thoughts. When God chose David to be King of Israel, this is what exactly took place. The stone that the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. Praise be to our Lord.
