Trick or treat?

when i was a kid we were never allowed to participate in anything to do with halloween because my parents thought it was evil. it was to the point that even in school when other kids were writing halloween stories, i would have to give a note to the teacher to be exempt and had to write about something else. we weren't even allowed to dress up in costumes. i sure hated that. Now that i'm a mother, i don't have the same views my parents did. ever since my son was a few months old, i've taken him out trick-or-treating every year. We all get dressed up in costumes (even my husband and i) and we all have a blast. last year i wore my wedding dress and put on black makeup and went out as the bride of frankestein. this year, i'm pregnant with twins, so i won't be able to dress up in my wedding dress. i'll probably paint my face. i'm not sure what i'll be yet though. my son is going as batman. my husband is going as darth vader.
