I always look and mark at those respondent that give me a meaningful and the infromation i wanted for my topics as best respondent. I have some friend that mark best response through the longer response they make not by the details in the response. If i feel that there is nothing attract me or special about it sometimes i doesn't mark any best response for the topics am i wrong?? How about you??What criteria you look at?? Do you always mark a best response on every topics you mark?

The responded who gives the most meaningful, most sensible, most appropriate and most detailed reply will get the BR in all my discussions. When many respondents give good responses I prefer to give the BR to first one who replied, otherwise, I'd give to my supportive friend who gave equally good reply.

Yes, I always give the Best Response although sometimes it is taking me sometime because it's very hard to decide which one is most deserving because many gave good responses.

It depends on the discussion if there is more information I need in one then they get the BR or if someone makes more sense in the discussion they get it there are many reasons I give a BR for...littleowl

I don't really make it a point to mark a best response on every discussion i started. Only if someone has made a point on my discussion that I'll mark it as best response. If most people will response with almost same thought, I always make it a point to award it to the first person who made such comment.

The criterias that i look into before i marked a person's response as best if its informative and make sense, if you learn something from it and give you some idea to share it with others,if its not too common and if he did really answer the question either in brief or long way but as long as he is still on the subject.

I don't consider length of a response, but the quality. I give best responses to the person who answers my question most completely, who offers a perspective I had not considered, who has something meaningful to say, who addresses the topic in a respectful way even if they disagree.
You are not wrong. You are allowed to give best response to whomever you choose- that is your privilege for the discussions you start.

I give best response to the person who deserves it. I havn't asked as many questions as I've answered, but I do try to mark best response to the person who actually gave some information related to the question at least. I have gotten some answers to a couple of questions where the people were not helpful, and in that instance they should have not even bothered to answer the question.

For me, I normally give the best response to the person that has given quite a lengthy response! It shows that they have put a lot of effort into replying to my discussion. I also look for quality too! You could write a whole bunch of words and it wouldn't possibly relate to the discussion at hand. I think it is important to give a best response when you have received so many responses. This shows that you are thankful to the person for responding to your discussion in the first place. I also respond to every response that I receive in my discussion, I feel this is very important. Andrew

i think that in every discussion, there is a best response. so i suggest, you choose the one which you think is the most informative and relavant to your topic. that is also how i choose mine. i also consider those responses that are straight to the point. it doesn't really matter how long or short the response is, as long as i feel that the person poured out every idea he/she has on it.
