The Simpson the greatest or are they??

Hi everyone,
For as long as i can remember i have loved the simpsons and my dad has hated them,
he wouldnt let me watch until i was 12 years old. i dont get how people can not laugh at what they do and all the places they do it in. so i was woundering what you think of the simpsons... dont you like them or do you think they dont belong on tv?

I love the Simpsons though I do think their run is coming to an end. Most people that do not like them do not get what the writer has been trying to do as a "spoof" so to speak. They are not as vulgar and dirty as family guy but still have enough adult humor to entertain. I think they have made a great enterprise but like everything they will fizzle out soon enough. They have been on tv for a really long time know probably 15 years or so I guess.
