Do you like sites with talking?

There are an increasing number of websites that automatically play sound, whether it be someone talking about a FANTABULOUS new product or method to get rich, or songs/music, or whatever else.
I don't really mind it so much if it's easy to turn off. I rarely listen to it. I HATE IT when you cannot find a pause/off/volume button anywhere! That really irks me. How do you feel?

Oh crud no! I listen to music while I myLot and when my speakers are cranked I get those stupid "Hello!!! You've just... blah blah blah!!!!" Yea, I've just scared the skin off of me, what is the purpose of those things, to make me not want to buy their product, cause its working. Can you hear me now???

Yes this totally gets on my nerves. Its not bad when it gives you an option to turn it off but 9 times out of 10 it does not. All I can say is think God I can just turn down the speakers. lol.

Hello, Bethany!
No, I do not like those kind of websites. Sometimes you are there and somebody starts talking about random stuff. My mother/father or anybody can be near me and they don't speak English, so they will probably think I'm looking into mature content in the Internet, which is not great for me at all. If I could, I'd disable the option of having to listen to an executive saying how you can earn thousands of dollars in a month.
And, as you said, it pisses me off when I cannot find a pause button. I mean, listening to the guy because I want is one thing. Another thing is when you HAVE to listen because you cannot find a turn off button.
Respectfully,
Munhozmib.

I Hate that. It always scares me because it will be quiet in the room and then all of a sudden a voice starts talking to me-- "Hey, you. Yeah, I'm talking to you." And it scares me. I wonder who it is for a second or two before I realize what it is. That is why I often keep the speakers on my computer muted. But that can be a problem when I am on my laptop and I can't hear the warning beep when my battery is about to die. Oh, well. Can't have it both ways, I guess.

I hate it too especially if I am browsing late at night. I just put my sound settings mute so that I wont wake up my neighbours. © ronaldinu 2008
