Which one do you use most? And which one do you think is better and safer? As for me, i started using skype since it's very popular in my country and i really got to like it. However, it seems that most of the people outside my country are using more MSN. But i find MSN dull, and stupid- the design is really very old-looking and all emoticons make my eyes hurt. How about you?

I use msn personally as i dont like talking on skype and i hate wearing headphones. I think msn messenger is more suitable for me, as i can choose not to reply immediately. Now i use msn messenger less often because most of the time i chat at mylot, not only am i able to learn new things here, i also get to earn some little money here, which i think is great!

I don't really use both. I just use yahoo messenger because all my contacts and friends are there. It has the basic call and photo sharing or file transfer features which are similar to both skype and msn so I don't see why I need to use those two when I already have Yahoo Messenger. YM has great emoticons, try it out man!

I use neither - I just use Pidgin to connect to my multiple IM lists. As for the voice communication, I find it overrated for just chatting.

I use both. Though I prefer Skype,I think, its the best. Because of the clarity of sound when I go for voice chat.

I won't use skype as it needs some cash for full features. I just tried once only. You can use live messenger instead of old MSn which was good in look and features. I commonly use Gtalk to chat with my friends. When I need to chat, I use yahoo and rediff messengers.

I never used MSN but with skype the sound is somehow not clear and you don't hear the person you are talking to most of the time. But now i'm using Gtalk as the sound there is clear enough, you can have a clear communication as if you are using a paid call on the phone

I use MSN and gtalk. I have most of my family and mylot friends on gtalk. Just a few old friends on MSN. Have not tried using skype. And I would not like the idea of using a headphone to talk on skype.
