I don't really spend much time checking my hotmail, I usually only look at it once a week or so, sometimes I don't check it for months.
Only if I'm expecting a message do I check it often, since my hotmail account is only my secondary email account.

Before answering your question let me ask one question; have you emerged here in myLot as an spammer? I think so. You ought to know that myLot is not only makes you participate in discussions, but also compensates you for your participation in discussions. You can respond to discussions here and also you can start new discussions. For both the work you will be paid a certain amount by myLot. But your responds or discussions should be meaningful and lengthy.
You have just joined myLot and this is your second post. Only after your first post you have started a new discussion...and that is only of two words? And that is you should'nt! Are you supposed to advise us what we should or we should not? If you are serious about myLotting, then be constructive and operative. Thanks.

I haven't checked my hotmail in about 5 years, lol. However, as a webmaster I spend a lot of time every day corresponding via email... I took a "break" from the internet for a couple months, and I still have 11,000 unread emails, even after the spam filter caught most of the junk. *sigh*
