Intel or AMD

I have 6 computers and 5 of them are on Pentium4 and i like the perfomance of Pentium too and if you add more Ram to your system then you should expect amazing perfomance on your system.I can Burn 3 disc at the same time and burn at amazing speed all of them. Pentium is the best

let me tell you my friend i have used both intel and AMD when they were best. i have used AMD Athlon XP and it was amazing when it comes to overall performance. Intel is like raw power where as AMD s like a work horse and will give you the power when you need it the most. but with intel core 2 duo i think the scenario is swapped. now intel core 2 duo is a bit better than AMd and that means that the new research centre in IRAN has made it possible for them to regain their lost glory with duo core which was awful. AMD is quite compititive but the heating problem has increased instead if reducing and also they have given more importance to cost than quality.

Well i have two pcs ,one assembled that was also Intel and yesterday i bought HP-compaq ,processor Intel Dual core duo,2.66 GHZ I always prefers Intel over Athlon.

I have three laptops one of which I have to get mended as it has crashed am not sure how to do it myself..it is also my best one but this one is good so cannot complain..littleowl

I would vote for Intel. I have intel processor at home and AMD processor at office. My home PC is far better compared to office. So, I think Intel is better.

see both of them are ther at their own places . for example intel is there when you need extreme gamin or high processing work whereas amd is there for budget users and those who mainly need pc for office work . there are hardcore processors for gamers also from amd but they dont worth it .

Well I guess you are in the best position to tell which is better but I Have used both systems long enough to know which behaves better and I can tell you that INTEL rocks!
