how many of us will get the holiday blues? yesterday i saw a commericial for christmas and halloween hasn't even gotten here yet. with the everyone being so poor these and can't even pay there bills. i believe people should consider home made gifts. i cross-stitch so i could make ornaments for friends and family. it's very sad. that it has come to this. may people get depressed especially during the holidays. well, i think this will be the worst suicide rate during the holidays in history. we need to pick ourselves up and grateful we aren't in jail or prison or sleeping on the street.

Yes I get the holiday blues, it is horrible. But I will tell you something, I believe that people would be far happier to receive a cross stitch gift from you than to have you spend tonnes of money on something bought. How special, you have made them something from you personally and that is worth more than any shop bought trinket. I cross stitch too, and in the past I always did a beautiful picture to give as a christmas gift and that gift was always treasured, I have not done this for a year or so, but you know maybe I will start again now.

I cross stitch but I didn't think in enough time to make things. I do write poetry though.

If you write poetry then why not do some special things through that, poetry is lovely.

Holiday blues.. hm avoid the tv hehe. I cross stitch too and I gave one to a friend last christmas. It felt good to make something yourself :) and hopefully he appreciates it :p Come to think of it I forgot to ask what he did with my framed cross-stitch. Ah well maybe I'll get to see it again this christmas when I go visit him.

I didn't think about cross-stitching and now it's too late. I do write poetry.
