Some of you may answer one of your little children, but I'll have to trust you on that. I guess for me it is probably my kitchen floor. I never have any food on it, nothing is visible to the naked eye, but when I mop it, it always has dirt on it. And I take my shoes off as soon as I enter my house. What about you guys and gals?

Oh that is easy, the living room floor..It is the only floor the is carpeted and that my White Shepherd is allowed on and even though we vacuum, there is always at least one spot that is covered in dog hair..But I wouldn't trade her for anything..

I'd say that my kitchen floor is the hardest to keep clean also, it never fails somebody will spill something on it, then it gets tracked all over the place. I don't have kids, but I do have a husband, he can be just as messy...lol.

Well, for me it would be the house floor... like you... i don't wear my shoes in the house... and we live at the third floor of an apartment building... so i would assume that we get less dust than the ones in the first floor... but everytime i mop it... i would always be dirty like it was not mopped for days... i wonder why...

lol I feel like I am chasing messes around, clean one room just to have another get messy at the same time. Never ends.

I would have to say my laundry or my dishes. It seems to me like both of them are never ending. And dishes are my most hated chore. I wish that it didn't feel like they never got done, even though they do.

The glass unit where my television sits. I hate it, with a passion! My hubby chose it, well he would he does not have to clean it. I asked him not to get glass, but no he wanted glass and it is a total b!tch not only to clean but to keep clean. Especially with 3 young children touching it all the time! I swear I have never seen anything that attracts the dust and sticky fingers so quickly and as for smears, well I will not even go there!

I take my shoes off too, but with animals at home I have to clean it all the time.
My stairs are always messy, because they run over my stair all day long.

Even my kitchen is most often in a mess. Either there are dirty dishes or plates to clear up. When everything is sp*ic and span our little budgie makes sure that there is always something to clear up © ronaldinu 2008

My kitchen can never stay clean no matter how much I clean it. I have two daughters that are 18 & 20 and it seems like they forget how to clean up after themselves when they are in there. I am always cleaning the stove. Another area is the bathroom, these two rooms are the hardest to keep clean.

It would have to be the shirt I'm wearing. I can't take a bit of something without spilling it down the front of me. Sometimes after eating I think, "I didn't spill anything!" Later on I discover that there's a little spot of something. Oh Well.

Hi AmbiePam:)
The one place in my house that is constantly in need of cleaning is....
drum roll please!
Also the kitchen floor! I have three teenagers, a husband, a puppy and a cat. NONE of them do anything to keep the kitchen floor looking nice.
There is always something spilled, like fruit loops or rice, dirt and leaves they track in, dog food, cat food, dog toys; it's just never ending. No shoes are allowed in the house but that doesn't stop them from tracking in dirt somehow. Arrrggg
To make it worse; the kitchen floors are hardwood, and they are getting scratched and dull looking, it makes me sad. I have found that the Swiffer wet jet with the all-purpose solution which works on wood floors is amazing. I love that thing! Just put a clean pad on, press the button, give the floor a few swipes and instant clean. I love love love it. I think every homeowner should be issued one. yaya
Yeah for the wet jet!!

That would be my kitchen. It truly is the heart of our house. We eat in it. Daughter does her homework there. We cook there. Pay bills etc. It just never seems to stay clean. I get it straightened up. Then it seems like I count to 10 and am back at it again.

As the mother of a teenager, and the owner of 2 cats and 2 dogs...nothing stays clean. Just like Hallmark says, "Open me first", when I clean - an invisible wand passes over those areas that say, "Dirty me first". I do keep my bedroom door closed, so the kids and pets stay out, but then there's my husband, who believes the house is kept clean by a magical cleaning fairy....lol.

A word to the wise...be very careful what you ask for. When my son was 16 (he's now 24), he asked me one year what I'd like for my birthday. My kitchen and foyer floors were laminate flooring, and it was looking pretty bad, so I asked him to wash them. As time got closer to my birthday, I forgot all about that discussion. He didn't. While I was out running errands, he not only washed the floors, he applied a liberal amount of armor-all too! It looked beautiful, all shiny and everything. But, it was like walking on ice, even with rubber-soled shoes on. For about 6 months, walking on that floor was like being on a skating rink. If anyone looked in my window, they would have thought I was practicing for some new break dance or something. Thankfully, nobody fell or got hurt, but we still laugh about it!

Heh well probably the floor right near the door too, since we take off our shoes, but visitors don't! Also we have a mat right in front of it. Fortunately most don't walk all the way in without realizing this. So we have to clean it often. My gym shoes definitely don't stay clean for long... and the shower walls/glass builds up water stains very quickly, even after using scubbing bubbles or any other cleaners...

I would have to say my kitchen floor also. I brush and mop it twice a day, but unlike you, my floor always has dust, crumbs and marks on it. It is a black tiled floor and it shows up everthing. When the sunshines on it, I cringe. Maybe your floor is a light coloured one.
We always take our shoes off also when entering the house. It is far more hygenic, and saves the stains on the carpets.
