He Got the Vaseline! He made me Nervous!

I wouldn't worry too much. My son did the exact same thing when he was almost 2. He had it everywhere and i was the same as you and panicked but there was no harm done except from a ruined jumper! I am always worried he'll get into somthing he shouldn't be near but it's all part of growing up i guess!

oh wow..well im glad that he's alright. maybe next time you could put your beauty products away from his reach especially the ones in bottles. my daughter knocked my perfumes and oh boy...they're expensive

My son used to experiment with electrical switches. No matter how much I tried to make them safe with safety covers he used to put a plug when we were not looking around. He was around 2 yrs and a half at that time. He was at the experimenting stage. Thank god he overcome it quickly because he was driving me insane. © ronaldinu 2008

I have not got any kids yet, but i always make my mom worried for me, when i was a kid.. lol =D I will either be doing all those things whereby she stopped me from playing, or that i will be up to some mischief with my brother when she's not at home.. lol =D When the time comes, i will always be playing wrestling wiht my brother on her bed, and executing all the moves we learnt on tv.. lol =D BUt of course she dunno that untill we wrestled again in her frenz house, and got caught in the act.. lol =D It was only then she knew what we are always up to when we are alone in the house.. lol

I don't think the petroleum jelly will hurt him if he put it all over his body, it is use as a moisturizer. My mother went through the exact same thing with my brother. She even has a picture of it. You have to admit it is a little funny. My kids always make me worry, I guess it is just a part of being a parent.
