Did you see the footage of the Beijing Olympics where they walked along the streets where food vendors were selling from booths? They had seahorses on a stick (roasted or something). I was shocked even if I could get past the harming of these rare creatures for snacks, wouldn't they be quite hard? They also had scorpions and other bugs along with the regular fish balls and beef balls. One vendor was also selling dog although quite rare (mostly in Korea where vendors were told during the world cup to not upset the westerners and stop selling).
