I have a Job 2 Jobs I am so happy. The first Job I make Parts for the Car door. You know the panel on the Car door that is made of material. well I have to sew those parts with a Power sewing Machine. I also have to inspect the peices and pack them. I do a little shipping and recieving too. the Job is very easy but you have to stand on your feet for 10 hours. I have to get me some good supportive shoes to stnd on my feet that long What do you suject? I wear the Tennis shoes. If you stand on your feet all day on your Job what do you do to be mre comfatable? I know I have to get use to it. I also have a Job doing Homehealth Care. Ok, I was just sharing my news. Wow! You have to stand for 10 hours sewing, shipping and receiving? That sounds quite tiring to me. I thought sewing is always done sitting down and now I know that some of them are done standing up.
Then you also have a job in homehealth care! How do you manage to have the time to do two jobs in a single day? When do you take your break? Don't you get really exhausted at the end of the day and I wonder at what time that would be...
Sorry for asking too many questions but I am always amazed at people who really spend a lot of time working and I always have a big respect for people like you, doing all your best to earn a living.
Hope that you would be successful in what you do and all the best!
Cheers!

I am so happy for you. I have had jobs where I had to stand on my 2 feet for 12 hours a day. We couldn't wear just any kind of shoe. They had to be steel toed and you talk and miserable and uncomfortable. I would suggest Nike Shocks or Asics for comfort. Dr. Scholls are also good too.

Congratulations on the jobs If you are going to be standing on your feet that long every day, I would suggest a good pair of shoes for nurses. Nurses are constantly on their feet and their shoes need to support them all day long, yet be comfortable enough to wear

Congrats on the second job! Are you still doing the Avon on top of them both? I feel for you standing on your feet that whole time! Whew! I got myself a pair of nursing shoes in black (instead of the usual white) and wear them a lot just for everyday stuff. They make those nursing shoes really comfortable because you're on you feet all day with that kind of job too. They do have far better arch support than the tennis shoes! When I was still doing healthcare I used to also wear those support stockings and found I didn't have as much leg tiredness after long days on my feet like that. Hope you had a great weekend! Wishing you success and happiness in your new jobs!

It's not only great that you have two jobs, but that you have two jobs that you seem to like. I hope everything goes well for you in those jobs, not only with the money, but that they will continue to be fun and stimulating jobs that you will enjoy for as long as you work there.

How very wonderful!!!! Sounds like two jobs that will keep you busy and out of mischief! LOL...congrats! I'd find a good work shoe. I know some are expensive but well worth the money...also don't forget that the insoles are what wear out the first so having a spare set will keep your feet very happy!

hi marciscott glad you have two jobs and that they make you
happy. that car job really sounds interesting, and glad its easy. I always bought and wore nurses shoes as they were comfy and'
stood up under working as a nurses aid, or reeboks, anyway something made for being on your feet a lot.I am always glad when our mylotters can finally say they just got a job, with the
job market the way it is right now.good luck and God Bless.

Hi ya marciascott
Well a bit congratulations to you. I know you have been looking for a job so I am glad that you have one or two now that reaaly is good news. I think you will actually get used to standing on your feet for long periods and I am sure tennis shoes will do just as good as some expensive cushioned shoe! Well done you!!

Hey Darlin, I just responded to you on your other discussion Good for you. I hope it all works out for you. You really do need to get some good shoes if your going to be on your feet all day. It would also be a good idea if you got some knee hi support stockings. Get the good ones, you can get them at a pharmacy. That will help your legs keep from getting swelled up. I think you had a problem before with your legs swelling. I sometimes have a problem with that too. I have some support stockings and will wear them if I am going to be on my feet all day or if I am traveling. Take care Marcie, its always good to see you.

Hi marcia,
wow..that is cool! I experienced having a regular job before and a part time and it was tiring but I enjoy it also!
ANyway, rubber shoes is also good when you need to stand a lot in your job, any flat shoes that you're comfortable with as long as it's not very tight! ENjoy!
