Do you buy your sheets, clothes, sunglasses off season when they are not so expensive to save money or do you just impulse buy whenever you want these things?

I buy some items in the off season. I buy umbrella in winter, but it is useful in summer and rainy season. Last year I buy swatter in summer season which is useful in winter. It is one of the tip to save our money. Happy to share our views. Happy myLotting.

No, I would not spend my money on something that I would not be able to wear for awhile even if it was on sale. I would just wear what I have or wait and see what sales come up for those items when I need them.

I never really use to buy stuff off season, but I have started to do so this year. We are a tighter on money this year and before. When we went back to school shopping for my daughter (about the first week of September), most stores were starting to put their fall and winter items out, so the summer clothes were marked on sale. I bought a lot of clothes for my daughter for next summer. I just got the next size up. I did the same for me at a few stores. I was a little bit worried about what poster #2 said about losing stuff if buying it out of season, but I have just started storing a few clothes in space bags or boxes. I put them in a closet and make sure they are marked on the side facing outward. That way, I cannot miss that they are there.

All the time. I go the week after Halloween and get decorations for next year. NOt a big halloween fan, but I look for things like cute little witch houses for a votive candle - it has to be cute, not scary. Same for christmas. Recently I just junked most of what I had - I moved from a 5 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom apartment when the kids all moved out and dont' ahve the room for it all plus, I always had to do all the work and still do, but with the kids gone, I don't really want to do all that just for me - it isn't christmas without kids. So when I moved, I just gave most of it away. I have a few little things and my personal, family herilooms things, but other than that I am collecting agian.on a small scale. So I go hte week after christmas. Things will be really cheap this year I think!

Having to save money whenever I shop, I always try to buy off season, especially clothing for my kids. It's not always easy to determine what size they will be wearing next year but it does save me tons of money. I remember walking out of the Children's Place with 40 pieces of clothing and only paying $75 when they have their 50% of clearance special. Those clothes at regular price or even normal sale price would have cost me well over $200. I try not to ever impulse buy unless it is somethhing that is absolutely needed at the moment like something for a special occasion that came up.

Sometimes I do. I'll buy blankets in the summer if I find nice ones. But buying clothes off season doesn't usually work well for me. My size will often have changed before I get the chance to wear the clothes.

I buy the when ever I need them. like sunglasses in the summer, coats in winter, jackets in fall...etc... Only because I know if I buy them off season I would probably most likely loose them. My place is not them most organized.

When i go shopping, i always do it when there's a sale on department store and also when i like something i wait until it become cheaper so i can save money. Im not so very compulsive buyer except for bags and shoes and boots lolz.
