A half pound here in Florida is a felony. My son has delt and been caught in two different states. He is now the proud owner of 5 felonies that will remain on his record for the rest of his life. He was put in jail the last time for dealing, spent 6 months in jail then went to a bed to bars program through the court system for a year. Then probation where he had to be home by a certain time every day. he still does not get it. He thinks the police are out to get him. He is off probation now and moving to Colorado. He thinks moving he can leave his felonies behind He is not smart enough to figure out this is the world of technology and everything you do follows you. I have no idea where you live so I would not know how severe of a punishment you could get. But getting caught with half a lb is pretty much. You should be able to see an attorney for the first time free of charge and see what he tells you If it is your first offense they may just do probation, but if you have been down this road again the courts are getting tired of seeing the same faces for the same crimes and they are taking it harder to try to get attention to stop the crap. Ok,I know this is kinda late but,DUDE DON'T, they won't cut you ANY slack, don't be a fool. Not only can you get "beat up", where does "shot up " fall on your "things to do" list? I'm not sayin' you will, but, these times are a tad crazy, I mean, people get shot up for "nothin", for "stupid sh*t", for "wearin the wrong color hat", for "just standin there" get the picture? And, just cause you f-ed up, don't mean you need to "f" someone else.

If you are in America you get probation and a big fine. But let me tell you from experience with friends don;t snitch on others. i am not sure how but they find out who ratted them out. One of my friends took the deal to rat out others to give him a break and he got the crap kicked out of him because the people he ratted out found out and had to move to a different city. It doesn't happen in every situation but it does happen. They honestly don't give you that much of a break if you can;t come up with other peoples names

I would snitch on him or whoever. i mean you got caught so why not get the other person in the same situation you are in. But then again thats pretty rotten being a snitch. But hey they might give you a break if you do.
