What kind of birds do you prefer to own?

I prefer finches myself. Not sure why by I tend to enjoy the miniature side of animals. I think finches are beautiful. I love watchingthem raise their young.

back home in the Philippines, we used to have pet owls, pigeons, chicken, love birds, and the most favorite one is our eagle. i rescued him when we went to my mom's province and he was living in a very small cage with lots of fleas and he's almost dying. he grew up to be a very tame eagle and he'd always make funny noises whenever he see any of our family walk going home. it means he's excited we're home

I prefer to own a bird that is on the smaller side like a parakeet or a cockatiel. Even though I find the bigger birds (such as macaws and cockatoos) very beautiful, they frighten me with those big beaks! I just got a cockatiel last week. He's just a baby and oh so sweet! My sister and I had cockatiels when we were kids and neither of them were as sweet as this little guy. But then again they were probably older (and not as tame) than my new little guy when we got them.

I think that I would love to own doves! They make the most beautial sounds! You should hear them call each other!

I don't think I would like to have my own pet bird, but my old roommate had a cockatiel. He is very cute and fun to have around. So if I were ever to have a pet bird, it would probably be a cockatiel.
