He is very aggressive. But he does not have the qualities of a world class champion. He needs to work hard on that.May be in some years he will be ready for that. What do you people say??

Well, I would certainly agree with gerald_lian......... Lewis Hamilton of Mclaren F1 team is too early to become the world champion........ Even though he is consistent, I do feel that lewis hamilton should learn to respect others before becoming a world champion........ Even if hamilton wins this year's F1 world championship,he will not become a true world champion in the minds of F1 fans due to his rash driving....... If he has to become a true champion like Michael Schumacer, Ayrton Senna, Mika Hakkinen, Alan Prost etc, then he must reduce his aggresion a little bit and be a good driver like the famous others.... HAPPY MYLOTTING

It's very interesting to see how short peoples memories are, because Michael Schumacher went thru a lot of times when people said he was too aggressive, but at the end of the day, it is that competitive spirit that makes these guys want to get into those machines to begin with, knowing that they are going to put their lives at risk driving round those tracks at speeds up to and exceeding two hundred miles an hour. It is completely the luck of the draw whether you happen to be the contracted driver for the team with the best car, and you only have to think about the mechanical dominance of the Ferrari for many years to see what I mean. At the moment, the Minadi would not win a race, regardless of whether we put Schumi or Hamilton in as the drivers! At this point in time, however, those of us who champion Lewis Hamilton are praying that he does not have any mechanical or racing accidents during the race in Brazil, because we look forward to watching those long faces of the people who hope he does not win! Rock on Lewis!

That depends on how you define world class. Having on top of the standings ain't not a world class standards? Having been so good during wet weather tracks is just like having Schumacher (although a little bit of exaggeration already) again on the wheels. Going into the final race of the season on top of the score board is great already and have to fight those technicalities that was imposed to him in the previous races. If without it and if it was fairly given then it won't reach this final race to crown him as the world champion.

I think he's not ready to be world champion too at the moment. However, he's on the top of the leaderboard now and I think it's really his consistency in his results and also the inconsistencies and frequent errors of his closest rivals that helps him to be on the top right now. I think if drivers like Michael Schumacher or Mika Hakkinen are still on the track, Hamilton won't be such a shining star like he is now. But of course, he's showing lots of fresh talent that F1 really needs, and he too provides quite some drama and entertainment on the track that makes F1 interesting. I think if we give Hamilton a few years to develop his driving skills and also the personality of a world champion, he should be worthy to become one by then.
