Yesterday i went to a hospital to see my uncle, the elder brother of my father, he received an operation on his kidney, in which there was a tumor, it's a real sad news for me. until now, we haven't know whether it's a positive or a negavie disease, my uncle is only 56 years old, he has got 2 sons and 2 grandsons, and 5 nephews including me. I dare not think if he would pass by, i hope not. if the result is a negative one, then it must a cancer, which cannot be accepted by anyone of us. I wonder if someone got cancer, does it mean the patient is not very far from death? think of that, i can't help shedding tears.

cancer is a very serious illness that should be taken action as soon as possible..on May of the same year i had an immediate surgery and had found out that i had cancer on the cervix...mine was curable because it was discovered on the early stage...slim chances will be when it is discovered on third to the last stage... the first thing that you can do once you found out that you have this kind of illness is acceptance...accepting the fact that you indeed have this killer illness is very difficult but is a must because it will be better to accept and do something with it than be on denial part and ignore it... at first i was on denial and had asked for second opinions as i could not believe it myself but after i had accepted the truth it gave me a relief feeling though now the whole relief till i gone through chemotherapy and now i must say I'm doing better,,i just lost my beautiful hair and got thinner than ever but still alive and fighting

I'm so sorry to hear about your uncle being sick, I hope the result is just negative and he'll recover soon. Although cancer itself is a deadly disease and I have lost 2 close uncles from it (on liver and pancreas), I still believe that it can be cured with today's modern technology and medicine. A friend of mine was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer of the mammary gland but with her strong faith in God and accompanied by the advances in medicine, she is now cancer free, thanks God. So just keep your hopes high and never doubt God's unfailing mercy.

No not all people die from cancer, and these days less and less people are dying from it because of all the new technology that is being produced. I hope your uncle does not have cancer but even if he does i hope he will survive it.

hi xoyyox having cancer is a serious thing but not all people with cancer die, if it is c aught soon enough they have a very good chance at life. my husband had cancer of the rectum, and had to have surgery. He lived for another fifteenyears, and it was a series of heart attacks that killed him from smoking too ]much.your uncle has a very good chance of living a long life if they got all the cancer and it did not spread. a lot of people are now living after cancer surgery as they got it early enough.O I realize its not fun for his loved ones but he could well live for many more years.I will send my prayers to you and yours for his full recovery.

Well not exactly. Many cancers today can be cured as the other mylotter have said here if detected early. And even if doctors said that it was hopeless and stuff like that they can not really tell. Miracles do happen. And as for your uncles case it is not sure yet so do not think some negative stuffs. Well let us just pray for the better. Hope he gets out of the hospital soon.
