Me and my husband talked about the children going trick ir treat. He then open up with me that trick or treat for children is very dangerous. He told me about the story in the uses about the apple with a razor blade and putting poison on candies. So he suggested that if ever we will have our children we won't let them go on trick or treat without us and instead we will just attend a halloween party. How about you?

Hi there aisaellis22
Last year me and my kids moved into a new house and a new area so I didn't have a clue what our neighbours were like so I did a halloween party for my kids and my friends daughter. I then let the kids dress up and let them scare the other kids that came to our door and then they gave them sweets. They had so much fun. This year I am taking them out trick or treating but will be checking what they collect and throwing away anything that has been made like cakes and anything that looks like it has been tampered with. Happy halloween

If I had a choice I would prefer my little ones go to a Halloween party then go trick or treating. I think a controlled enviroment where I know the people giving the party would be safer. Unfortunately, I don't really know anyone giving a children's Halloween party, so my husband is taking my little boy trick or treating while I stay home with our baby and hand out candy. Hopefully, when my kids get older and start going to school it will be a Halloween tradition for us to throw a safe Halloween party for their class mates to come to.

Well that seems like a good idea. At least your husband was there to take care and watch out for them.

Halloween party happens every November. It is a party where everybody get dressed as a monster or to dress something scary.

I don't have children, but I gerw up in the 80's when they use to do things like that. I came up when you went trick or treating and people would throw eggs at anything that moved and use to spray shaving cream on peoples heads. The few times I went trick or treating it was with a bunch of my friends, and one of their big sisters would go with us. I never heard of the razor blade in the apple. And who the hell gives out apples for hallowen? Someone like that should have their a$$ kicked!..lol. When I was coming people used to put needles inside the candy bars. The 1st time I trick or treated, my mother went through all my candy to make sure it was okay. I dont't think many people trick or treat now these days. And if they do, it's usually done early before it gets dark. I think the best bet would be to go to a party where you're probably going to get a ton of candy anyway.

Oh i see. Well they said, the story about razor blade was not really proven if it's true. I do think that letting children go out and do trick or treat is not safe for them, especially letting them do bad things to a person who will not give them anything.
