Mylot is too slow

I had this problem yesterday. It was so slow that it annoyed me. I didn't know if it was my internet connection or MyLot, I just took a break and did something else for awhile until it got better.

Well, I think a lot of it depends on the time of day I come in here, and how many people are actively posting on here. But I do think that myLot is getting a lot slower at times here, and maybe they need to find a way to increase the time that this site takes to load. I know I would Love to see it load a lot faster a lot of the time as well.

I am not experiencing this today thankfully but I have definitely found the site lagging in the past. I actually brought up the same concerns a month or so ago when I was finding mylot slow to load yet all other sites I was visiting were loading up just fine. I am assuming that it is congestion within mylot itself and I hope thay will work to rectify this as the user numbers grow further.

Hi ronaldinu, No, its not your computer, mine was going slow as well, so it must have been Mylot that was doing it, It hipe its ok now as mine is working fine now. Tamara

It hasn't been slow for me at all. It must be your computer. I've had a nice fast time on MyLot today, and I've been able to get a lot done.

Yeah, mylot is much more slower as compared to the past when i 1st joined mylot.. Right now, i think there are too much members in mylot, and thus mylot is slowing down due to its huge traffic in here.. hehe ^_^ My browser speed is considered fast, and it's only in mylot that it's slightly slower.. hehe But i guess it's good in a way too because more newbies joining mylot means there are more discussions to look forward to, and can make more frenz too.. lol

My theory on this probably is the fact that mylot is getting popular and a number of individuals have logged in to participate in the process. Another theory is weekends tend to be peak days for mylot.

Today is Monday the 27th, and I see that this discussion was from yesterday, the 26th. I wasn't on here yesterday, so I don't know if mylot was slow or not, today it seems to be working fine, there are some days that I get on here and its slow. Its probably something on the website, its probably not your computer.

I have been on mylot for about seven months now and there has been times that mylot has seemed to go really slow,and take forever to load a page or even log into mylot, my fiance is also on mylot,and she has been on mylot for a month or so longer than me and she has also seen mylot be really slow,lately mylot has been working fine for me,and only occasionally been slow,so it might just be your computer or maybe your internet connection.

i don't think my lot is slow. i am fine is open my lot. maybe your internet connection not good signal. you can try again

I have not had any problems with mylot loading. Normally it comes up very quickly. Maybe when you formatted something happen to slow yours down.

no not for me maybe you need to clean out your cache

i do have slow times but it's my computer, it's old & slow like me.it's slow on everything.

its not the slowness. its not slow for me but it seems to have problems when you want change anything on your profile and wont let me send a friend a comment lately. maybe to many people here now. they need to improve some things instead of making them harder. make easier

Hi ronaldinu! I have been having alot of problems too. I do believe that it is mylot. Sometimes it is very slow. I think it might be when alot of users are on at the same time it tends to slow down. I really don't know. I keep thinking that it is my computer too. I have also been having trouble with Yahoo. I respond to mylot through my emails and that has been really bad this week. I have been kicked out of Yahoo so many times and I don't know why I keep losing the connection. I am kind of used to this happening although it is a pain, but I don't really think that there is much that can be done about it.

Yes I noticed that too on Friday. It took a long time for it to load. However, things were back to normal yesterday. Today at 3:59 am here, everything seems to be running well at myLot. The speed is normal and there seems to be no problem in posting at all. So, I do not think that there is anything wrong with your computer but you may want to run your anti virus and anti spyware programs just to make sure that your computer is not infected in anyway since virus and spyware can make your computer and/or your internet connection to become slower than usual. i dunno about the slow matters but i hardly can post anything in mylot as the connection just goes off as in i know its not the problem with my net connection.and i dont experience such type of problems in any other sites apart from this so i think theres some problem with the site
