Do you place a glass of water near your computer.

I do got a situation like you and from that time, I stopped placing the glass of water near the computer. But, I will left some empty glasses. Right now there are three glasses which are empty.

I even spilled coke in my pc..lol

sometimes i do, but mostly it would a glass of soda or can of it.. i avoid nowadays already, because i do not want to spill anything into my keyboard..

Yes, most of the time I have a glass of water near my computer. Actually it is beside of my monitor. But I have never spilled it. I just want to have a glass of water near me. Though I have one near me, I don't drink it. I go outside my room and get another glass of water and I will drink it. Sometimes I have lots of glass of water in computer table.

I try my best to avoid it, especially when I am using a laptop. I am afraid that it will damage my laptop once I accidentally let the glass slips or it spills while I am drinking it . So far, I have not done that yet. I always try not to bring water or any drinks near my computer or laptop. You're lucky that nothing happened to your computer. Always be careful.

So many times in the past I have spilt a glass of water and it has gone into my keyboard that now what I do is have a bottle of water beside me which is far better and actually easier because if you knock it over providing you have the lid on there is no harm done! Even if you don't have a lid it doesn't spill as much as a glass and with a glass it can easily break! I have learnt my lesson after having to replace my keyboard due to being clumsy!
