I would have to go with the dog. They can be taught tricks. . . entertain guests. . and protect you!

I agree with you! Dogs are loyal pets. It's just too bad my house isn't big enough to house a dog. I also don't have the time to take care of one. I'm afraid I might neglect it.

I would be quite happy with a goldfish, but instead we have 2 dogs and 1 cat!

For me, it would be hamsters! I love them! I have a hamster named Sniffy. He's a male hamster with a really huge and pinkish nose. His whiskers twitch all the time! I just love it when he looks at me with that look, telling me to take him out to play. I would then put my hand in the cage and he would jump into it immediately. I've never had such a cute hamster before.
He loves to sniff! He sniffs everything he sees. It's like as if he had taken up " sniffing " as a hobby or just joined a Paid-to-Sniff website. Either way, it's cute!
I've grown so attached to him already. He's such a sociable and friendly hamster. He's tame too. The only time he bit me was the first time I handled him as he was not used to handling yet. As a result, he was frightened.
I'm thinking of buying him more plastic houses to sleep in. I always see him with a piece of shredded paper in his mouth and running all over the cage. Seems like he doesn't have enough places to sleep.
Happy mylotting to you!
