I'm sure I have a lot of regrets, and if I listed them all I'm sure I'd just depress myself. But there is one regret I have that pops up every now and then. When I first started college I was sixteen. I was so incredibly shy as I had come from a very small school. There were a couple of girls who tried to befriend me, but to be honest I was just scared. Eventually they went their own way, but I always thought if I had accepted their offers of friendship we could have been friends still today. And good friends are of course hard to find.

I have a lot of regrets especially nowadays, that I am more mature. I sometimes blame myself for deciding about something which turned out bad. It even get worse when it affects my personal life and family. But so far, I try to resolve these issues and just think about it as lessons in life. What's done is already done and what I can do next is make better decisions next time. One of the biggest regrets in my life is not following my sister's advise to process my papers for abroad. She told me a few years back that if I want to be with them, I should take care of them as early as possible. Now, I have regrets of not following her because if I did, I should be with them already. But better late than never. I think I still have an opportunity to make up for that lost time.

One of my regrets in life is gaining up weight. I did not watch what I eat during the last months. I have a few others which I prefer to keep them for myself. © ronaldinu 2008

Hello ,
Ya I have a list too . Some are big ones and some are small ones . If I listed them all I would be here till it gets dark out .
Ya, i can understand on losing the weight sooner . I wish i would of known what i know now back when i was still in high school . It would of been easier to get off just that 50 lbs than the 100 plus i have been slowly getting off for the past few years . Now its like i know what to do and how to eat . Then sometimes i think i was active back then and should not of been that big . Ah, you cant go back that is the thing . I have been at war with my weight for years , but happy i lost and have toned up some .
So its ok

I understand if I had to do it over I would have applied myself more in school and became a Nurse or something in the medical field. I can't do it today because my illness'es would keep me from succeeding. I can always do something else maybe be a medical transcriptionist or something.
Thanks for the post.
