Were you beaten by your parents?

if my children is the one who saw this discussion i know their response would be. i am now a single mother of four children. i left my husband and tag our children along with me. at first i dont know how to feed and to stay alive but i brought them any way. my husband is a very abusive man and he does not only hit me but he hits the chil;dren as well.

I do sometimes give a thrashing to my kids for not studing but my parents have never scoulded me or beaten me for anything when i was a kid. I think they were very patient as i too did create mischiefs but they simply ignored them. As fas as studies are concerned that was not a issue with me as i was the district topper.

Fortunately I haven't experience such things, not because of I'm a girl, but because of I do respect my parents.

I as beaten by my father as a child. My father was nothing but a drunk all of my child hood days and he beat my mom and me and all my seven brothers and sisters. He was a cruel man and we paid for all of his hardships in life. We were his punching bags and he didn't need a reason to beat on us. I know this isn't what you mean in this discussion but I wanted to say it anyways. I am a parent with adult children now but when they were young I never ever hit my kids because I never wanted them to ever hate me the way I hated my father. Well as a kids, we always had mistakes and we did mischeavous things and sometimes we annoyed them and we give them a reason to beat us. I always disobeyed their rules most of the time. That's why i always had a pinch on my legs and then my father slap me using the big stick. But even i got those kind of punishment i still continue disobeyed them lolz. That's kids are.
