A Funny Movie

The weather isn't to nice right now and i was thinking about renting a movie. I really could use a comedy because of this depressing weather. What is one of your favorite funny movies? What is one of your most favorite parts from that movie?

I depends on your sense of humor... One of my favorites is "Waiting for Guffman" but a lot of my friends don't like it. "Super Troopers" is good, but it's not really the thinking man's comedy :-) Or you could try "The Darwin Awards" if you like black comedy.

I have heard of super troopers but i haven heard of the others. Thanks for the post i will check them out your expanding my comedy movie knowledge and thanks for that :)

hi kojinick90 i'd say Kungfu Panda.. it's super super funny to me hehee.. although actually it's more suitable for the kids, i love it !! i cannot stop laughing along the movie it's really funny and entertaining.. ^^ thanks kojinick90 !!

Well thank you i will check it out :) I heard it was quite funny but my friends who believe they are to old for anything animated say it isn't very good. Thanks for the post :)

I really like the 80's comedies - John Hughes movies like Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles; Ghostbusters, the Police Academy franchise. I haven't been terribly impressed with comedies in recent years but one I saw recently that was pretty good (and I didn't think it was going to be) was Superbad. It has a coherent plot - complete with beginning, middle, climax and end - funny actors, and didn't rely solely on raunch or gimmicks to carry the comedy.
