What if your wedding ring was broken or lost? What are you going to do? I don't like rings because of that. I always lost my rings. That's why I don't wear rings that is given by my friends. I'm afraid to lose them. How much more if that is a wedding ring. Can I just wear it as a pendant? Hehe....

For me there's nothing wrong if one lost a wedding ring, as long it's not in purpose.
Actually, you have a better idea of using the wedding ring, as a pendant. Nice.

Our wedding rings fit our fingers very tightly, and they are very strong and thick, so there is really no chance of losing them or breaking them.

I feel the same way about rings, earrings ect.
You end up spending more time about losing them than enjoying them.
I am notorious for losing my jewelery so stopped buying expensive jewelery.
My husband also knows not to buy me rings or other jewelery for my birthday.
Instead I ask him to take me out for a fun time..a nice dinner and maybe a show.
Or a lunch by the ocean..
This way these gifts are never lost..they stay in my mind..in my memory
I would rather a memory than a physical item I may lose or damage..
I do have a wedding band but it's a very simple inexpensive one that I don't have to worry about ..

I'd be lost without mine!
I've worn it for 38 years and rarely take it off. I've even had it on during surgeries. It doesn't come off easily and because it's quite a wide ring I don't think it could break by accident. I'd be far more likely to lose it if I didn't keep it on and wearing it as a pendant would make it less safe than it is on my finger. Chains break far more easily than gold rings do!
The only thing that would stop me wearing it would be putting on weight and it no longer fitting or having swollen fingers or a hand injury.
The only ring I've ever broken was my engagement ring. I used to wear it with my wedding ring and they rubbed together till it got so thin it snapped. It cost a bit to repair so now I only wear it when going out somewhere special.

Oh right, pendant should be okay for you to avoid lossing it. My wedding ring is tight on my finger so i never lost it anymore aside from im going to take it off and put somewhere and i forget, coz i have a problem with my memory sometimes, i always forget something lolz. If ever i lost it, oh my god, i dont know what to reason on my husband he is thinking i am cheating him and i never love him lol, so i am very much careful with it, Happy posting.

I only wear my wedding ring when I am going out of the house. A wedding band isn't necessary to wear to prove to the world you are married. My first wedding band was too small. I can wear it now, but it is plain and has been replaced with other bands. I have several that my hubby has given to me.

Wear it the way you like it. Why are you losing them. Maybe it is larger than your finger ring. Anyway just wear it the way you like it.
