He's a yellow lab/Huskey. He's a blue-eyed blond. He is about 2 and 1/2 but he is all puppy yet. I think I could use that lady from England who trains dogs and makes house calls. She's on the animal planet channel. I'm sure that I need more training than my dog. This is my first dog ever. I've always had cats, birds, fish, hermit crabs etc. But never a dog. We love him a lot though!

I dress my two dogs up but it never lasts very long. I dress them long enough to take their pictures. They chew up the costume if we leave it on them to long. lol. This year my cocker spaniel is going to be an angel and my chiauhah is going to be a witch.

No way! I think that is a big waste of money. My dogs would get out of their costume in about two seconds. Then they would proceed to eat them. So, no thanks for that headache. I have a friend that dresses her dog up every year. She also has a big box full of clothes that she puts on her dog year round. It just blows my mind that she spends that much money on clothes for a dog. It's just plain crazy if you ask me!

I don't have a dog I have two kitties and I am not going to dress them up for Halloween I would not dress a dog up either. I think it is a little bit silly although they do like kinda cute all dressed up but it drives them bonkers haveing stuff on I have even seen people dye their dogs different colors for Halloween hope it washes out good.

i personally have never dressed up my dog for Halloween. i have 3 dogs this year and last year i had 2 dogs. i got a new jack russell a couple months ago and shes still a puppy. she has a sweater because she gets really cold sometimes but i think it would be nice to dress her up for Halloween i want to dress her up like something really cute. i think it would be nice to walk her dressed up while my sister is trick or treating.

When I had my two Lhasa Apso's, I put Halloween bandanas on them to help me greet the kids at the door. They passed on many years ago. I have since had a daughter and 3 new dogs. She dresses them up every chance she gets. They don't seem to mind as she has been doing it since they were tiny puppies. They have bathrobes, pajamas, shirts, coats, sweaters and dresses. I drew the line at Halloween costumes, though. It's still pretty warm in Florida this time of year and they would have heatstroke!!

My 8 year old has a comment/question and would not stop bugging me until I posted it for her. Here goes: If you had a fish, what would you dress it up to be for Halloween?
I would dress my fish named Slash as a rock star, in leather pants,a black top hat like the real Slash, and a guitar.
