Hi Mylotters, Who do you think is the better batsman, Brian Lara or Sachin Tendulkar.

Thanks for your response.You have me wondering now if you mean
that S.Jayasuriya is better than Lara and Tendulkar.Believe me
that would start a massive debate and quite a few more names
would come in to play.Thanks!

As a Sri Lankan, I would be prejudiced to say Sanath Jayasuriya is better than both Lara and Tendulkar but I consider them both as great batsmen in the same league. But you'd be surprised to know that I consider Ganguli as the most stylish and correct batsman I've seen in a long while. I must mention though that I have been out of touch with the cricket scenario since I came to USA.

sachin is better than lara . sachin technique is very good. lara dominates sachin on playing long innings . lara not made run regular but when he play then he play long inning . sachin always made run .

Sachin Tendulkar is better than Lara in many ways. Lara dominates Tendulkar on playing long innings. But Tendulkar plays much better cricket. His technique is awesome. If anybody says me to choose the best batsman from Srilanka, I will definitely go for Arvinda Desilva.
