When you buy a big box of noodles that you are planning to make spaghetti with do you use the whole box? I'm making spaghetti and meatballs for supper tonight. I bought a big box of noodles and I only used about half of the box. I'm going to keep the other half for the next time I make spaghetti. So what do you do? Do you only buy the small boxes of noodles or do you buy the big box and split it or use all of it?

I buy whichever is the best deal at the time. I split the boxes alot. Most of the time that is the best buy.

Yes, most of the time it is better to buy the big box.

i always buy big boxes of noodles. i have four teen children and they eat like a horse lol. so big box for their big appetite. if ever i will only use some i keep the remaining noodles inside a tight closed plastic ware. for me it is economical to buy big boxes and keep it. we all love noodles so there is always a big box inside the cupboard.

I don't use the whole thing, I only use what I need. Sometimes it's just me at home, so we use what is needed for one person. Other times it's my husband and I, so we will cook for two. Mind you, there are times when we buy boxes that are about the amount that we would eat, or that one of us would eat when alone, in which case we use the whole box, but if there's more than we need, we will use only what we need and save the rest for later.

That's like us. We only use what we will all eat. But when I make spaghetti we can usually eat on it for two meals. So that way we aren't throwing any of it away.

Yes, it does keep for a long time. We use half and then put the other half up for later use.
