How do you withdraw money form your Paypal account?

Call me ignorant but I was wondering how do we withdraw money from our Paypal account (I don't have one yet). When signing up we need a credit card, therefore the money goes to our credit card? How can we cash them out? I can always go to Paypal website for the answer but I am too lazy to read guidelines. I didn't even read all of MyLot's guidelines...I'd better ask you guys coz I know most of you here have experienced and have made use of your Paypal account countless times already. Besides, it's way better to ask questions here coz if you're lucky you'll get immediate answers and interact with other members...thanks!
