do you like helping older people?

Yes, it feels good when we are able to help elderly people. I have a grandmother who is now 80++ yet she can still walk and healthy. She only has high blood pressure and she doesn't have any other illness. But I like to accompany her talking about her pass life. I think I can understand about her feeling of loneliness because she doesn't have somebody to chit-chat since all her kids have their own family to care of and seldom have the time to spare with her. So because I have no kids, I know how lonely it feels. That's why I am the one who often accompany her, and she always ask for me whenever she comes to a party held by our family members. She knows I am the only one who listens. Others are just trying to be polite to her, then moved on to talk with other people who interest them more.

it really feels good to help other people, young and old alike.

I do like helping older people. I believe what goes around comes around. I treat others as I expect to be treated. I love to make someones day. I enjoy feeling helpful and appreciated. I agree that it is sad when we see older people needing help and no one offers. We feel much better when we can offer them assistance for sure. We all must respect our elders because they are much wiser than we, since being on this earth much longer. I love to help them also and do so often. It does make me feel good when I help elderly people. Helping others is good for the soul. Whether they are old, young, diabled or otherwise.

yes, my grandparents raised me so I am very fond of old people. I just think that they raised us when we could not take care of ourselves so it is our time to give back to them.

Hi Yes, Like you I also do lovee to help elder persons. In fact, it's a duty which we must not ignore to help older people. When I was a kid, someone helped me to learn to walk. That generation is now become old and can't make a move on their own or need help. If I don't help him/her, it's seems to me as one of the most rude way to treat elders.

yeah i like to help the people who are old,they have difficulty to do something in person,so i think we should try our best to help them no matter how busy i am,just have chance to see them,i will give them a hand,perhaps you are not agree with me,bu t it is a ture,believe it or not,just knew by myself

I do love to help people in need,not only the older people.It's quite a blessed thing that if i can do something to make somebody felling better or make him/her out of some bad position.

I'm a writer (I write novels) and I guess the thing I love most about helping the elderly is their willingness to tell you about their lives. There's so many things you can learn from an older person about their past experiences and some of them have stories that could fill a novel. Some might think of an older person as boring but I'll tell you what, some of the most engaging, intriguing, "I HAVE to hear how this ends" stories came from just sitting down with an elderly person.

We all need to look after old people after all it's what we will become one day. i have a short story to share in this regard, I was once out with my parents to a party which was becoming quite boring for me. So I went out and was walking around by the road and was about to cross it when I notice an old lady who was our family friend trying to cross the road but the traffic would not stop for her to cross, so I went and caught her hand and helped her cross the road and went my way. Later I came to know that she told everyone at the party how helpful I had been and it naturally made my parents feel proud of me. Unfortunately she passed away after a month but I still feel she must have blessed me and her blessings are still with me today. Just that small act is the most satisfying thing I have done in my life. I just hope that when I am old I have someone to hold my hand too.

i really love to help older pepole specially if they are really disabled that need ur assistance, thats why when i see some older pepole that go along the street alone i really be at there side and asked them where he or she go and i left him or her if im finish sending them where they go and after my heart feel so happy that i make or help the person, thats why im happy that i have a kind heart.

Yes i like helping elderly people.Even my parents are old.i help them every time i can.when i find any one in a shop or crossing the street i help them.it gives a great sense of satisfaction.it makes me happy.
