What model are you using? If you said that the processor is heated, does it mean the whole system shutdown? I am great fan of AMD and it works on me very fine. Can youl also please tell me your computer hardware specification?

I was not a fan of AMD processor. But one thing I can say, cooling system not only depends on processor, it also depends on your cabinet too. Check it with your cabinet. Is there an adiquate cooling system in your cabinet and enough air circulation. If not you need to cahnge your cabinet or need to add one more fan to your cabinet. You have to check it with your motherboard. Go to bios and check the temperatures of processor. If your motherboard is monitoring the processor temperatures then processor won't heat up more. And another one is, Processor fan. Check the fan whenther ir was making atleast a minimum revolutions as that specified in processor. If not, then change the processor fan. I never used any AMD processor, but I lost one processor due to the same reason only. After loosing so much money for that, then I came to know what are effecting the processor temperature. Thank you. Your PC could be a cash machine. Look at my profile to know how.
