I tried these new fries at a craft show & they are soooo good. They are called ribbon fries. They are done with a potato peeler in a round motion like a ribbon & deep fried like that. They come out really crunchy like potato chips. Anyone else try these?

hello hillgirl11, my dear friend, i love fries. but after gaining tonnes of fat around my body i have to think before eating anything. gone were the days that i use to eat anything anywhere i want. yes, i have eaten thoise ribbon like fries and i have also eaten them in show somewhere. i have never seen them selling at any shop or restaurant. they are real crunchy and those people there, they use to fry hot and serve hot real crunchy things. i just cant forget the taste of it. its quit long that i have eaten them . one of the reason is that i am now stopping myself on fried stuff because of the fat also. all in all, i really loved them. real crunchy.

Wow, i have see it but have not bothered buying coz for me it looked wierd. I can see really lots of effort exerted to make that kind of french fries. I guess there only one store who sells that kind of french fries. Curly fries fom mcdonalds and it tastes the same like the regular ones. The ribbon french fries is another food target to try.

Yes, I have had ribbon fries and I love them. I wish they were more popular and easily available. Yum :)
