Hello everyone,
I have one simple question and then I will state my case.
Does anyone think that there is more to Joe "The Plumber" than we are led to believe?
Ok, here goes:
Joe "The Plumber" comes in initially as an ordinary average working blue collar "Joe".
We first see him at a sort of meet and greet on the road with Barack Obama, where he asks some pretty tough questions of the presidential candidate about his tax plans for America.
Then, all of a sudden he is the major focus of the second presidential debate where as John McCain mentions his name enough times to set a Guinness World Record and get the media to focus all of their attention to this average contractor.
Now I have to admit that if I am wrong, I do apologize Joe.
But here is where the concern lies, how is it that this average everyday man instantly becomes a political expert? His views are revered by the media and by Americans alike. Sorry to all of the students attending Harvard, Yale, and Dartmouth. You are all paying so much money for school and getting outstanding grades just to be outdone by a glorified "Handyman". Your opinions go unnoticed and your knowledge will probably not get the attention that this man has received.
So does anyone think that Joe "The Plumber" was planted in this election to sabotage Barack Obama's campaign? Is he who he says that he is?
I'm sure by now that everyone has heard the worst about this man, that he owes taxes, he's not really a licensed plumber, and everything else discrediting him.
He sticks to his guns by not stating who he is affiliated with or who he supports or is going to vote for, that the choice is only known, and I quote, "Between me and the button", but yet he is the poster boy for John McCain and he allows John McCain to use him in his campaign ads. So who do you think he's voting for?
But, if what I read is true, he does not make what he claimed to make and to be honest, he would actually benefit under Barack Obama's new tax plan.
So go figure, if he would benefit from Barack Obama's plan, then why is he blasting it and if he would not benefit from John McCain's plan, why is he the poster boy for John McCain all of a sudden?

i tend to listen to the news when im cooking or washing dishes, so i dont always catch everything thats being said..but i do recall hearing something about how "reportedly" Joe the Plumber WOULD benefit from a tax cut under OBama. i thought i must have heard it wrong cause of McCain grabbing him and running with it.
but you do have a point..IF he would benefit from Obama WHY would he be McCains poster boy? a bit suspicious lol! however..just because the news says Joe doesnt earn enough doesnt necessarily mean its true.
shoot, im so fed up with everything that Everything the news says, the candidates say and everybody in between, i view with a grain of salt and a healthy douse of "uh huh..you bet.."
