I like my current job though this is my first job after graduation. I'm very thankful I got hired on this job. Not only that because I really like my current company. The time I started working, it is the administration who processed the medical benefits, social security, and my taxpayer ID. I receive my salary in the exact date and at some other times receive it earlier than expected. There are also many opportunities to grow. My company is very conscious about the quality of software we create and I like it. The work of every employee is appraised. The office is comfortable. There are sofa sets provided along the office and everyone's free to work there whoever wants to. Office hours is also flexible. Working at home is even possible. Just keep yourself online to coordinate with project teammates in the office during the day. Do you like your current job? What makes you stay with your current company?

I like my current job. I make my own appointments and travel to my customers on my own schedule. The pay is good, and I like my boss and co-workers. Sometimes I have to work late on some days and then others I get to go home a little early, so it all evens out. I stay with my job because I have to support my family. They have gotten used to the electricity, air conditioning, lights, heating, water, food, house, etc. LOL Had to say that, but yes that is a major reason why everyone works I think.

I have a friend who also often travels on her job. And she's enjoying it. It's great to know you like your co-workers including your own boss. I usually just hear employees who hate their demanding boss. Your job is just right for a person who have a family to support.

Well, I'm working in a totally different field right now than what I've usually done. I slipped into the tourism business and I came out of Medicine. It's a strange change for me and I still miss the medical field but it also has it's good side, no more night shifts and weekend rotations. Also, vacation customers are so much easier than sick people... But most important is the fun and the money so that's what makes me stay where I am.

I guess you're really enjoying your job now compared to the one before. For me it doesn't matter what field you came from if you really enjoy your job. It is the job that you enjoy which lasts and which one you can do your best.

I like my current job because of the flexible time... i do not need to worry about going to the office late... and it is very near my apartment... when it is not too hot... i can just walk to and from the office... I can also always go home early... i just need to call the secretary of my boss to inform her... the pay is not that high... but this is the only job i know where i can enjoy flexible time... so that i can be with my daughter more...

One of the thing that I also want with my current company is its flexible office hours. Coming late is not a problem as long as we can finish the task assign for that day. Having an apartment to your office is also an advantage. In my current apartment, I have to ride the bus/jeepney to get to the office. That's quite near and I guess the distance is just right. Not very far and not so near.

We have the same case, my current job is the first job I have when I graduated college. In fact I'm on my 9th year in my current company. I love my job so I can't leave it just like that. Even if I face any problem with the company I can't still leave my job. That's how committed I am with my job.

Wow, that's good! I'm glad you're also happy with your current job. nine years is long enough to know how you are committed to your company. I can you are both lucky : you and your company. The company has a committed employee and the employee is enjoying with the job. I know some people who are working already for years but in different companies. Employees who enjoy their job is a good asset of the company.

wow.. this sounds like a really really cool job.. My first job was something like yours, I was a freelancer in a tv commercial film production company. I could work anywhere, I could do anything I want but granted that I work for many hours (as long as the project needs) But I do get paid really well. Now I'm at my third job after graduation, and I guess I'm okay with this job, I'm staying in this current job only because of the two friends I made here.. Yes, I do like what I'm doing, I'm really great in what I'm doing, but the company is not paying me enough.. Which is a really big deal for me as I need to start saving for the future. So, who knows, in time, maybe in a short period of time, I may just change my job for a better pay. But I'm really happy for you that you have a job that you like!
