Hi i am a single 23 year old father and i have been married once before and i loved my ex wife and the mother of my children she was my first real love but how do you know what true love really is. Is it when you wake up next to the person and get a really good feeling or is it when your not around that person and you don't feel whole anymore there have been many girls that i have loved but not felt the same way that i felt about my ex wife and i was just wondering what it really is true love does anyone have a idea of what it is thanks bigman

True love is when you stomach gets all warm when you see them. You have to talk to then. Then you get to the confort zone and you think that true love is gone and it's not. The other part is lust and is now confort. That is a big plus to be confortible around someone. As you can do anything and still know they will alway's love you for you. You don't have to sit up right you can fart if you want to. run around half dressed and know that they look at you with love and not lust all the time. You get to do things with each other and just sit and her in one room and you in another and still know that you are loved and yes just to know they are there. Your friend onlydia

yes i agree with you to an extent but i loved her more then anything in the world i would do anything for her and i have done so much for her but i dont know if i love her.

I guess it's when you go all out of your way just to be with that person. When you decide to accept that person for who he/she is unconditionally. 
In more giddy terms, when you can't breath anymore from thinking of the person and waiting for the next time you will be with him/her.

Yes i agree with you to the fullest extent on that one i feel that i am more then happy when i am around her i still love her sometimes but sometimes she just makes me so mad i cant stand her but what can you do right. thanks bigman

What is true love? but first, what happened to the marriage? Where is the love?
True love is really a state of emotion, sometimes it is only understood more in the absence of the partner. It is when someone you love left you and you just so uncomfortable about your feelings and you start longing for that person and wherever you look, nothing can be compared to that person. It's when you feel complete when you love is around, regardless of your situation. It's when you love the person amidst the shortcomings and the negative things you see on her. that's true love! unconditional.
