In LOVE--age does'nt matter??

I've been happily married for 3yrs now!!but every people who knows me they can't believe that me and my husband has 20yrs age gap,my hubby was 43 now and im just turning 23 this month,many people especially my relatives are against with our relationship til we get married but when they saw my husband is responsible they learned to accept and love him..but one thing i cant understand is "IS AGE REALLY MATTERS?"you guys there what is your opinion?thnx in advance..

In some ways, age still does matter. For me, your age gap with you husband does matter. I think 10 years is okay but 20 years? It's too big. Good for you that you get along well, but for how long? I understand why your family was against the relationship in the first place. Maybe they thought you deserved somebody close to your age. Having this big a gap can contribute to misunderstandings. Your views are different, and so on.

thnx for the response!yeah sometime we had lot of misunderstanding but i found out that he is now adjusting to my childish attitude,but the advantages is that im now more serious with the things and decision ive made in short coz of him im more matured now..and i hope our married life will last long..
