My computer brokedown a month go with some short circuit in its board. During this period i realized what life is without computers. Imagine you wake up to find one day that computer do not exist anymore, how do you life turn out to be?? I know mine didnt turn out good. More than 85% of the worlds population has computer. Another important asset which make the computer what it is today is the internet. Tell me you views abou t this

I could not live without the computer - although in particular I need the internet connection.
I want to know what is REALLY going on in the world. i cannot get the truth from TV where the media is prejudiced and pushing only one view all the time.
I can also use the computer for writing letters, managing my finances and business, storing my photographs and watching DVD's and listening to music. I can do all of this in one place without having lodas of boxes all around. I would like to be able to take it with me, but battery life is too short and laptop keyboards and screens not good enough yet, but one day...
In the mean time wherever I go - travel, work or friends - I can catch up on news and emails and keep in touch.
What I dislike is that the Microsoft/Intel domination causes newer programmes to run slower needing a new machine which is incompatible with the old one - this is good for them but bad for everyone else and in partiuclar for the environment having to unnecessarily produce lodas of computers only to throw them away a year later! Computers for the last few years have been good enough for 99% of people so development can stop now. COmputers are commodity items and sold in supermarkets! There is no longer a future in designing them!

Well, the Computer World did not exist for me until 2001.
Through this world of the Internet, I have made many friends
and met the man that I choose to be with till my days are done...
By learning to use a home PC, I have broadened my mind and
concepts about people from all over the world. Even though I
have a PC, I don't let it stop me from being in the "real world".
There is life out there and real people in it that we need to stay
in touch with. For some reason, I have this feeling that the things
we have been able to do with a PC are about to change drastically.
I could live without one, we all can... but would we want to?
NOPE!

Always remember that "someone" knows exactly where you are
if you are on a Computer of any kind. How much true privacy we
will have in the future is the "change" that I think may happen.

A change is a big thing for us, and not everybody likes changes... most people just try to prevent them
