It's a little difficult for me to wash strawberry cleanlily. I heard from friends that in order to keep away from pest or insect, the planter use heavy pesticide which is really hard to wash away. I always dip it into salt water for half an hour. Sometimes I will use a soft brush which will ruin its coat. It just makes you lose appetite. Do you have any better way of washing strawberry?

Rinse in cool water with the green still on and serve at room temperature. All for the best flavor. I have read nothing about anything you can use to get any chemicals off except www.veggie-wash.com.

Just rinse them in water. The best thing to do is to grow your own. Make sure your soil is sandy and they get some sun. The Laramie type are delicious. They don't have to worry about how well they are washed! And they keep coming back! It is great!

How about putting the strawberry in the clean water for half an hour?
It's said firstly wash with clean running water for some time
secondly dip them in salt water for about 5 minutes
then wash them in clean water again
Do not pick off the leaves on strawberry. Otherwise, the pesticide is much easier to get into the strawberry
Not suggest to use brush, because brush will make the fresh stawberry not fresh
