Everyday I seem to log on to my e-mail account and find 30+ junk e-mail, newsletters, notifications that I just can't be bothered with ! So, me being lazy, I don't want to look through them all or check them all and delete them - I just leave them. I have over 4000 unread e-mails in my hotmail now .
It would take forever to unsubscribe from this e-mails, and some of them are notification for sites I visit, too. But because of this I often miss e-mails from friends. Thank goodness for the search tool!
Do you get overloaded with this junk mail? Do you choose to receive newsletters or sign up for subscriptions? Share your stories ~

Oh, I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one! I get too many newsletters and don't have time to read all of them every time, but I don't subscribe to many of them "just in case" there's something I really, really want to refer back to some day. In the process, my inbox continues to pile up. I'm a hoarder in "real life" too, though, so I guess that comes with the territory. I do try to flag some of the more important-appearing emails plus I have folders for some that I try to make sure and label so I can find them more easily. What can I say. I love junk mail!

Most of the time I delete the spam box daily, and newsletters that I don't have time to read right away have a folder that I stick them in. Then every now and again I go through the folder and review & delete. I only ever got that built up in my ebox once, and that was when I didn't have electricity to run the computer for a few days. Whew! I never realized till then how many emails I got (friends OR spam.) I've used the search tool too on occasion. Now if I have letters from friends that I want to refer back to for something, I make them a folder and shove it in there. I have one email box that I use for newsletters and for when I have to subscribe to something to get a freebie. That way I don't get too much unwanted in my regular email box.

I do tend to get a lot of junk mail so I try to delete them whenever I've got the chance. However, I'm in the process of deleting my one hotmail account because I just get so much junk. If I were in your position, I'd probably just change all my accounts to a new address, inform friends and then delete my email so I wouldn't get stuck with all the junk. It's too much of a pain to deal with it on a daily basis!

I do get junk mail and they are more than 70 in daily. But all are in spam only. So I don't need to bother about the other mails from my friends and others. I am using Gmail which is the best in filtering the spam.
Thank you.
