What other flavorful things do you like to add to plain Vanilla ice cream?

i dont eat ice cream as i dont like it. if i did i probably add some kind of fruit like raspberries or cherries

Well, first of all I can't have just plain vanilla ice cream. I have to have either French Vanilla or Vanilla Bean. Plain vanilla tastes like absolutely nothing. My favortie topping is Hershey's Chocolate Syrup. Fresh strawberries sliced on top and whipped cream, usually Cool Whip. That's my favorite cool whip! :) Purrs, Catwoman=^..^= & Mija

I like to add all sorts of things depending on my mood at the time. Hot fudge, caramel or strawberry topping, separate or any combination of those combined. I also like nuts, sprinkles, little candies such as m&m's or something like that, banana slices, marshmellows, chocolate cookie crumbs, whipped cream....etc. etc. etc.

hi cream oh I would love to add chocolate syrup, bananas, walnuts, strawberriesand cool whip. oh that would be so delicious I can almost taste it now,and my mouth is watering too. shame on you making me all hungry again. I do so love to top; vanilla ice cream with all sorts of goodies and eat away to my hearts content.shame on me, as I am a diabetic so have to add in all these things to my daily carb count. lol

Hey YOU Hope things are good ! I just love vanilla icea cream and love colored sprinkles .Depends on my mood too . i like fudge and whip cream and cookie pieces too ,but for the most part i would be happy with just the sprinkles .

That sounds delicious! I usually add a tin of strawberries in syrup with vanilla ice cream because the syrup is like strawberry topping and when the vanilla mixes with the syrup it tastes yummy! I also break up a cadburys flake as well, like a 99 cornet! Chocolate goes well with vanilla ice cream!

Fresh strawberries, chocolate syrup...usually. Or better yet...both! I'll sometimes want to eat it plain, but not often.

Oooo, I like vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup or strawberries on top. Maybe with some syrup and nuts on top. Then some whipped cream. Now you've gone and made me hungry for ice cream lol

I like vanilla ice cream as is. But a friend taught me how to make a really great dessert just last week. A scoop of vanilla ice cream in a coffee cup with about one-third cup of brewed coffee. It was great! Have you guys tried that? She said it was called afogato.

Do you know that you can use the vanilla-flavored ice cream in making milkshakes? You'll gonna have chocolate milkshake and also coffee milkshake. I also like to add some walnuts and cherries. I don't really like the taste of plain vanilla ice cream so I'd be very happy if it has some additives on it.

I recently heard that vanillas is a part of the orchid family, the largest family of flowering plants in the world. Last week I had honey and vanilla flavours together that were delicious. Actually we ate the ice cream just by itself, but I can imagine it would be just perfect wirth a fruity pie, or a cobbler, or even to top a simple grilled or roasted peach. You could also substitute other stone fruit for the peaches. I think nectarines or apricots would work perfectly as well. I had unforgettable taste last week when I had ate chocolate candy in the center enveloped by vanilla ice cream with a rich chocolate coating and rolled in rice bits. It was really an unforgettable taste & unforgettable flavor that I had.

I love fresh strawberries! I also like almonds, carmel, chocolate sauce. Makes me want to go out to Marble Slab and get some.

One of my favorite things to add to vanilla ice cream is real maple syrup. It's delicious, although where I'm living now in Oklahoma, it's expensive to come by. After a big meal, it's also nice to have a creme de menthe parfait, and for holidays it's very festive looking with the green of the creme de menthe, and the white of the ice cream.
