I used apple cider vinegar for about 6 months, maybe 7 years ago now. It had a laxative type effect on me, but I don't remember all the health benefits.
I do recall it being NASTY tasting stuff. I would have a tbsp or 2 with a tall glass of OJ every morning, and eventually I got used to the taste. But it was definitely acquired! LOL!

Well, being vinegar, I guess it wouldn't be sweet or anything. Laxative, eh? I guess that isn't so bad if you are constipated, it would actually be a good thing. And we are always being told that we gotta keep the pipes clean, eh! Thanks, K.

Hi AnnieOakley! Here I am working on your star and found this discussion that you've started over a year ago! LOL I have a solution for ya for PURE Apple Cider Vinegar but it has to be PURE and not distilled. If someone has an ulcer, this will cure it! It cured my dad's! He learned this from an old Indian friend when he lived in Idaho. What you do is with a regular sized drinking glass, put about a half an inch to an inch of pure apple cider vinegar in the glass then fill the rest of it or how ever much you prefer of water and drink it every day for 2 weeks. One glass every day for two weeks and the ulcer will be cured! So there ya have it! Now back to working on your star.... got 5 more to go to get my 11 in.....

Thanks Cats. I was looking into buying it for myself as well as my sheep flock because of some research I did that said it was very good for you. But I couldn't get a supplier to sell me enough in bulk to make the trucking worthwhile. But I will definitely try this now for my stomach as I had Gastritis several years back, which I was told was going to turn into an ulcer. They made me eat yogurt for a year, alone or with everything I ate, plus many restrictions on what I could and couldn't eat. So, it sounds like it would do me a lot of good.
HUGS

I live by vinegar. Here is a site that can help. It's good for arthritis, and shiny hair, bacterial killer and so on!! www.indianchild.com and www.earthclinic.com Just punch in apple cider vinegar and go from there. Best of luck. This stuff is amazing. I use it for the toilet to "de-germ" it with little one that don't aim good!!

Thanks. The earthclinic one was very informative. And I found others, too.
Very enlightening. Apparently, it is good for weight loss, a health tonic, etc.

Hiya Annie,
It´s also supposed to be good for Heartburn but it´s not everyone´s cup of tea other it will suit some and others not. So I suppose it´s a case of trying it out to see if it agrees with you. Supposed to help you lose a little weight too but I don´t know about that one. I use it for cleaning Bathrooms and the Kitchen most insects seem to hate the smell of it and I hate killing anything like that.
Great for shiny Hair and I use it in two glasses of mineral Water for a great Hair conditioner when I am going out somewhere special and my Hair is all frizzed out.
